This week was a great honor for Children of Vietnam and for our wonderful supporters. During a ceremony in Tam Ky of 100 charities working in Quang Nam Province, 50 received awards. Children of Vietnam was the only non-profit to receive a double award, one for Organizational Outstanding Achievement and one for Individual Exceptional Accomplishments presented to our dedicated country director, Ms. Luong Thi Huong. We are proud of Ms. Huong and all of our staff. Thank you!

GOOD NEWS--500 House Challenge
Our 500th house is just around the corner! With your support, almost 500 homes have been built for poor families since 1998 with 494 completed or funded to date.
Make a donation to help the 500th family in need with a sponsorship of a house ($1250) between now and January 5th; you will be entered into a drawing for a gift of a lovely framed piece of Vietnamese art created in the ancient town of Hoi An near Danang.
